Hey all! I'm happy to say that production on the opening animation for Newgrounds Winterfest 2025 is about to begin!

For those hearing for the first time, Newgrounds Summer/Winterfest is a digital Newgrounds event, complete with panels and programing hosted by Newgrounders!

Every year we put on one of these events, we create a cartoon to kick it off! I'm happy to say this year will be no different.

Various animators come on the project, and each of them contribute a few seconds of animation. At the end, we have a really cool showcase of Newgrounds characters and artists!

And that's where you come in!

If you want to contribute a shot or two to the cartoon, send me a message on Newgrounds or Discord.

The shots HAVE to be:

1920x1080 resolution

24fps

The style can be whatever you wish.

SPACES ARE LIMITED. We have a limited amount of shots, and therefore a limited amount of animators to bring on.

Much like the Fest server, we require that you be 18 or older to join.

Our goal is to have this thing done before the Fest starts, so around Feb 17th. It's a tight schedule, but I believe it's part of the spirit of this project specifically. Newgrounders coming together to make something amazing for the community, despite any odds, is what the Newgrounds Festivals represents, to me at least.
